Old Square irish pub

Twenty years of irish pub

Opened on December 12, 1996, over the years it has become much more than a traditional pub.

There is always a great reason to stay at the Old Square, whether it’s for lunch, dinner or to sip drinks with friends. We offer international cuisine, typical Italian dishes, burgers, grilled meats. It is a timeless refuge for those who love the warmth of wood and the bygone atmospheres of stone vaults.
A place outside the box, where the only scheme is to team up and feel part of a big family.

Moments

We offer an internationally inspired cuisine, enriched by typical Italian dishes and specialties. Lunch is ideal for those looking for something tasty, light, fast, but without ever giving up on flavour. The kitchen is open at any time of the day and there is no shortage of solutions for vegans. Happy hour in the evening is the ideal time to share small talk and snacks with friends. And we wouldn’t be an authentic Irish pub if we didn’t have a wide selection of draft and craft beers, spirits and drinks of all kinds.

Our strengths

Steak house, sandwich shop, Guinness brewery, Stella Artois, Schmucker, Hoegaarden, Brewdog, Beavertown, P3 Brewing, Vetra and a wide selection of artisans. Stage for concerts and DJ sets.

Within these walls you will be able to perceive the presence of Violante, the ghost of the countess who has returned to visit the places where she spent her existence since 1500.

La Cripta

Inside the Old Square you will also find La Cripta, a space surrounded by walls built in 1250 and forming part of what remains of the ancient Convent of San Francesco, once built in the homonymous district which is now Corso Vittorio Emanuele II . An ideal place to taste wines, for intimate dinners, private parties and corporate events.
